Welcome to the internet home of the Central Florida Woodturners, a Star Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. Central Florida Woodturners exists to encourage and assist its members in advancing their skills in woodturning, and to educate the public and promote among the public a greater enjoyment and appreciation of the art of woodturning. The Central Florida Woodturners Guild was re-established in 1987 by several members of a woodturning club that had dissolved a couple of years earlier. Of the original club of 33 members, several are still active members in this chapter. 2007 Marks the 20th anniversary of the Central Florida Woodturners. The chapter was re-organized just a year after the formation of the American Association of Woodturners.
